Te Kauwhata Performance Project

Te Kauwhata Performance Project (TKPP) is a collaborative project designed to engage people in our community who have a story to tell, who enjoy performing, or perhaps have a knack for writing, design or technology. It is an opportunity to bring people of all ages, skills and backgrounds together through creativity, to share skills, build confidence and celebrate who we are as a growing community.
While we do aspire to a performance, the process is just as important. This is something you may wish to do for yourself, with a friend or as a family. Join us!

There is a role for everyone. If you are an experienced or aspiring actor, singer, dancer, musician, writer, designer or just keen to lend a hand please get in touch - artstekauwhata@gmai.com or 0212225682

Please also come along to our first project hui if you can - 3pm on Sat 11 July at the Toi Ako Artspace, 3 Waerenga Rd.

If you are willing to contribute some of your story to the project please respond to the story prompts below. These may be anonymous or you may leave your details if you wish. In providing this information please know that we may incorporate some of your writing, themes or ideas to help shape the production. Ultimately we want to make something that reflects the rich and growing community we live in.
